The Nutrition Ish Podcast is a space where two pals and nutrition professionals sort through the misinformation about nutrition and health.

Trinity and Kayla met in their graduate program at the University of Michigan. These two pals went from classmates to friends after bonding in study groups and completing a summer internship together.

Both share a perspective on nutrition that is mindful of eating disorders, weight inclusivity, and the social determinants of health. This podcast aims to take on nutrition topics through this lens.

Kayla Romero (she/her), MPH, RDN

Kayla is a dietitian who loves food, nutrition science, and connecting with people. She is passionate about helping folks have a healthy relationship with food and hopes to work with folks with eating disorders as a dietitian. She takes a non-diet, inclusive, “all foods fit” approach to nutrition. In her spare time, Kayla gets joy out of running, cooking, thrifting, and spending time outdoors with her partner. Kayla is a fan of good (and bad) puns and is easy to get a laugh out of. She is the proud caretaker of her pup Cedar and cat Crush who make life interesting and support her career ambitions.

Trinity Webb (she/her), MPH, RDN

Trinity is a dietitian who is passionate about helping people heal their relationships with food and their bodies, advocating for inclusive language and atmospheres, and supporting community access to food and health services. In the future, she hopes to work with adolescents with eating disorders and to help families adopt positive language regarding food and bodies. In her spare time, Trinity enjoys trying new breweries and restaurants, having game nights with friends, running outdoors, and learning new languages. She receives a lot of love and support from her partner, rescue-kitty Finn, and her family.
